9:00am-5:30pm, 3 Saturday mornings a month. Requires work experience in an
Ophthalmology medical office setting, including high volume direct patient
contact required. A minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service
focused or sales environment required. Must be able to work Monday-Friday
9:00am-5:30pm and 3 Saturday mornings a month. Must be able to work 5-10 hours
of overtime per month. This position will specialize in customer service,
sales, telemarketing, patient education and clinical/surgical scheduling of
refractive surgery patients for the Casey Vision Correction Center (CVCC).
Duties include telephone based education of prospective patients, sales,
scheduling of pre/post-operative and surgical appointments, data entry,
preparation and mailing of patient information, chart preparation, triaging of
incoming calls, training and orienting new clinic front office staff, cash
handling and billing duties and other duties as assigned.

8:00am-5:00pm. As this is a very diverse position, all candidates must have
superior organizational skills, the ability to be flexible in time and
location, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with frequent
interruptions. Requires excellent communication skills in order to work
professionally with the public, outside partners, pediatric community, and
internal community. Requires excellent knowledge of OHSU network applications
using Windows - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle/ASIP system, A2K scheduling,
order entry, billing, SMS, and RSS. Must have a working knowledge of clinic
scheduling and registration to coordinate the Outreach Clinic schedules for
multiple sites and specialties, as well as coordination of space and
professional relationships with host facilities. Requires proven record of
excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependence. Must be able to work
independently and be proactive in problem solving. Requires experience working
with children and families. Must be capable of high energy and enthusiasm in
the face of competing priorities and a very hectic environment. This position
provides support to Doernbecher Children's Hospital (DCH) Program Development,
Marketing and Outreach Program, and Doernbecher Echocardiology Lab. The
program includes: satellite clinics, community provider activity in DCH and
the coordination and support of marketing clinicians and their offices
throughout the state. Coordinates schedules and clinics, schedules
appointments, obtains authorizations, and maintains communication with host
offices and community referral population. Arranges travel and contracts for
all satellite clinics. Provides back up support to DCH Administrative team in
the form of phone reception coverage and other general office duties. Works in
coordination with the Echocardiology Lab's Administrative Assistant to insure
that patients are scheduled appropriately in Decrad system that charges are
accurately entered into the billing system, and general office duties are up
to date. Coordinates all requisition development, disbursements and tracking
of funds for the Outreach Program. Supports the department by providing
excellent customer service through prompt and professional communications
skills, face-to-face customer contact skills, and excellent problem solving

Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm. Imaging Team Leader. Must have previous medical
records experience. Type 45 wpm, 10-key 120 dpm. Demonstrate ability to
perform computer functions in a Windows based environment. Requires a high
degree of knowledge of the complete workflow of the Health Information
Services department. Must have excellent follow through skills. Must be able
to work independently without constant direction from the manager. Must be
able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to withstand
constant job pressure and flexibility in changing from one task to another
with numerous interruptions. The purpose of this position is to serve as
Imaging Team Leader and coordinate daily activities associated with the
medical records imaging system. This position assists with the training and
evaluation process for document imaging employees. This position will help
monitor and problem solve any customer concerns.
